    G.I Joe Battlegrounds

New Android G.I Joe game has been released (however, not currently in the app store). I grew up on G.I Joes & Transformers so its nice to see them still kicking today. Both the Joe & Transformers games are card based but the art work is just fantastic. G.I Joe can be downloaded here...

    WTF Is Wrong ?

What do you expect ? I'm using 4 CFL bulbs so all things considered, its actually growing quite well. My first assumption was a nutrient deficiency or nutrient burn but I haven't fed it ANY! And I'd assume the slow release fertilizer in the soil does not release enough quickly enough to cause...

    WTF Is Wrong ?

Hey Guys... I got a baby plant from a friend about 2 months ago as he needed a hand to save its life and I was able to save the plant its recently took another turn for the worse... Soil is mixed with Dolomite Lime to maintain a balanced PH and also has a small amount slow/time release...

    Heat Stress or Magnesium Deficiency

Thanks for the quick reply ;) I was in a hurry when planting and made the mistake of buying soil without dolomite lime mixed in so I'll have a bag of that a.s.a.p and re-pot.

    Heat Stress or Magnesium Deficiency

Hey Guys, A plant I have recently took a turn for the worse almost instantly and I'm not sure if its due to Heat Stress or a Magnesium Deficiency but at the moment I'm leaning towards Mg. Lower half of the plant is unaffected and remains a real nice dark green. However the top half...

Can you flush with un-ph'd water

PH is one thing... PPM is another. I would never use tap water period due to it being between 550-600ppm (in my area). Lastly, if your soil was mixed with dolomite lime than PH wouldn't be a concern.

    Calcium Peroxide

Common... no one here has ever tried this stuff and no one has any input to share ?

    Calcium Peroxide

Not sure about that but I do know Dolomite Lime would cure your problem. Its a mix of ca/mg which is ph neutral so by mixing it with the soil prior to planting etc you can maintain a steady/even dose of ca and mg while keeping the ph neutral. Some soil mixes come with it already pre-mixed or...

    Calcium Peroxide

Anyone here mix in Calcium Peroxide with their soil prior to planting ? I'm curious how well it works or how much of a benefit it can provide. Brief description for anyone unaware of what it is... So for anyone who has, or does use this it would be greatly appreciated if you could share your...

how can i maximize my harvest?

Trial and error. Realistically you need to burn some leaves etc in order to really find out how close you can actually get. Myself, I've had 42 watt cfls within 1"-2'' of leaves/buds without any heat issues.

    Switching from soil to hydoponics

How big is that pot its currently in ? After 6 weeks (since you claim the roots are everywhere) I'm guessing its getting root bound so simply transplant it into a larger 1-2gal container so it can resume growth.

how can i maximize my harvest?

Eliminate as many variables as possible to limit problems. Example, Soil PH. Buy a pre-mix which has limestone in it or mix it in yourself to ensure the PH stays neutral. Also use RO Water vs Bottle or Tap since the PPM to both is to high. I browsed your thread/7 light grow and some of...

    Seed Germination

That sucks to hear. My last grow was done using seeds from the same bag/batch which were also around 4-5yrs old and I had at least 60% sprout so it was odd that none would sprout this time around. Anyone know if there is a reason a tap root would start but sudden stop ? Seems odd that it would...

    Seed Germination

Okay so I decided to germinate some seeds that I had but the thing is, their old. Like 5yrs old atleast but I figured heck, I have them so might as well see if they'll work. Well heres the scoop. A few of them appear to have a tiny white tap root starting that is ever so slightly coming out...

Why do people here use smaller multiple CFL's as opposed to one or two big ones?

how about cost vs availabilty ? for myself, the net/ebay is my only option for the larger grow style CFLs where as I can pickup small 23-42 watt bulbs locally for next to nothing.

Show Off Your Buds (Pics) (Cfls only)

What people fail to realize is wattage is only one part. How many amps are required to draw the wattage is the main issue.

14x1750=1750 WTF, Small Cfl Array, Input Appreciated

In terms of Intensity, no its not any brighter. Its perceived as being brighter by your eyes simply due to the fact that there is more light from multiple lights vs one which just increases the coverage area.
