My first grow! A CFL journey

All of the girls received their first feeding today. I fed 1.25mls of the foilage pro, and 2ml of the pro-tekt. The grow that it suggests is 3-1-2 and the foliage pro I have is 9-3-6 so I fed 1/3rd of the recommended strength. I hope I did that right. These are pics right before their...

My first grow! A CFL journey

Transplanted this plant to the floor. Changed my mind because I couldn't shut the door. I repotted it and it looks fine. The rest of the plants are doing great!

I actually didn't do much research into t5's. I was trying to decide between cfl and led. I feel like the t5 setup would have been out of my budget for now.

They haven't been fed at all yet. Yeah, the soil is a little hot. But I think they will grow into it. I plan on flushing them next time I water. That sucks man. :( my actual light hangers should be here today

My first grow! A CFL journey

I added some perlite to my soil mix today. The seedlings aren't looking great. A couple of them are still nice and green, but about half of them are very pale with burnt tips and some brown spotting. I went ahead and transplanted them all into bigger pots with the perlite added. Will add...

My first grow! A CFL journey

When checking on the ladies yesterday I noticed they looked a little droopy. The leaves are still firm, but they're curled down a little. I put a rack on top of the tray they are on so that they aren't sitting in run off. And since they were all dry I went ahead and watered them all. Only...

My first grow! A CFL journey

Just got back to the grow from two days out of town. The ladies are looking a little yellow. Hopefully this sorts itself out soon. Threw out three cups that had dead seeds. The 4th one that hasn't sprouted yet seems to be still viable so I've left it in the room, but took a little dirt out...

I shall figure that out. Definitely think it would be beneficial. As for the new fixture for the bigger bulbs, should I try and mount them laterally over the plants? or leave them pointing at them?

Yeahh, thought about taking them out. But thought the mixed spectrum might help a bit, guess it's too far away to have an effect though?

My first grow! A CFL journey

I don't want to update daily, but whatever. my 105w bulbs arrived today. I went ahead and stuck them in. I know it's not ideal but for now it will do. I'm keeping a close eye on them until I know how these are gonna affect the temps, humidity, water absorption, etc. Also looking at cheap light...

My first grow! A CFL journey

Negative Ghostrider. They have not had a feeding or any kind. I guess just the nutrients in the soil, guess it shall run its course. But, I also did some reading and I really think it looks like a Potassium deficiency due to the yellowing/bleaching on the seedling leaves in the 3rd picture.
