    The Best Nutrient for Aeroponics?

Maxibloom from GH. And the Maxigrow makes them EXPLODE in veg. And 50 ml Clonex / 5 gallons R.O. and here we grow. I've played around with FF, Botanicare, and Technaflora, but i am onto production now! I spend more on r.o.ing my city water than on nutrients. Amazed! And what a lil prick!

    Plant molasas

Any unsulfered molasses should work. If you are using organic nutrients this should work great. Start adding molasses in the 3rd week of flower. I use half tsp. per gallon in my reservoir. Plants love their sugar.

    A couple of aero questions....

Looks a little too hot. Your thermometer read 87 degrees! Lower it down to around 72-75 degrees. What are your reservoir temps? Hopefully around 65-68 degrees. Some of the organic ingredients may stain your roots. And I hear the Humboldt Roots is fairly strong so use it lightly. Good luck.

To tall maybe to close together not enough spacing ?

Growing clones will help if you can support them. They retain the age of the mother plant so they can be flowered as soon as they have roots. They will still grow and stretch for a couple weeks in flower. What was your problem with LST? In aeroponics the plants grow so quick that I LST a branch...

First Aeroponic Build. A bit noisier than I thought. How quiet are yours?

Me? Kinda sorta. Veg unit is two totes (14 sites) that drain into the same res. I have a valve between them and a union going to the pump. Setup to use one unit or both. Otherwise yeah. No framework to support the buds. With enough wind and the branch density i don't have a reason to support my...

trimming leaves away to let more light to lower buds?

Just push the larger fans below the bud sites or you can squeeze the fans stem and then bend it down. It won't die, just be bent below the other buds around. I just keep the bud sites as fully lit as possible.

Why Do My Clones Look Like Crap When Trying To Grow Roots???

Hey Lacey, just throwing a few cents your way I hope. To each their own but I have cloned in rockwool for hydro and am currently using a homemade aerocloner. I take 5-6 inch clones, each with branches started at the nodes. This will give them an added week of veg as soon as they root. I have...

    Plant Light Receptors

Great read guys. This subject of light receptors effects me because I am using a light mover and would like to know a way to figure the delay time. Just trying to be more green!

First Aeroponic Build. A bit noisier than I thought. How quiet are yours?

My cloner makes the least amount of noise because it is self contained in one tote. There is an initial burst of course at 396 gph. The veg and flower units all make the waterfall noise. Kinda peaceful I think. Because they drain to the reservoir without any hoses.

    aeroponics/nutrients question/receipe for success

Post a picture of your system if you can, nugz. Lots of veteran growers around RIU.

    aeroponics/nutrients question/receipe for success

I use the Fox Farms nutrients. Only the Hydro Grow Big , Tiger Bloom and the Cha-Ching. The Big Bloom is for soil application. Botanicare works well too, and they are both organic nutrients. Technafloras nutes are chemical except for the Thrive alive. To each their own. Hope someone else chimes...

    Aeroflo with RO water

Check out www.stinkbuddies.com. He uses Botanicare with his aero system. It's an organic nutrient as well as the Fox Farms that I use. Good luck and post some pics of your buds later. Aero is explosive!

    aeroponics/nutrients question/receipe for success

Yeah times ten. Those nutrients should work pretty good. Go light to start. 1/4 strength or 450 ppm or so. There is now buffer between the roots and the nutrients like in soil. Your roots will tell the tale. Good luck.

    Current waiting times for cards

Yeah they cashed my check on 4-20 also. First time as a patient but have been a caregiver for a lil over a year. I am always waiting at least a month for patient cards. I am glad MCN is putting on the amount of clinics around the state that they are. Easier access for those without the means to...

    MT Mmj Users Unite!

Another patient caregiver here. Just trying a few new strains for different patient ailments. My patients are so thankful for the high quality meds I grow or have access to. I am willing to trade clones to other caregivers. Only high quality all the way. Caring for patients well fair ahead of...

    A couple of aero questions....

Sounds like you need an RO system or some distilled water with a base ppm that high. Anything over 200 ppm should be RO'd for max yield. Humbolts schedule says you should be at 500 ppm in week 3. and 600 in week 4.

    A couple of aero questions....

Different manufacturers use different factors. Hanna uses 500ppm =1.0 EC. And the nutrient manufacturer may go by another factor for their feeding schedule. EC measures the total concentrates of salts in the nutrient solution. But keep in mind only the inorganic nutrients. I am using organics...

    first grow going bad

Definately light burn, you can see the lines of the cfl. Get rid of the big bloom and go with the tiger bloom. And I don't use the cal-mag until mid flower. Good luck.

help before i throw out this f#@*ing ro unit, ph went nuts

Sounds nice to have the ph set right where you want it to start. Makes flushing cake. Yeah just add the tap water for up. So what are the ppm's before and after RO? Keep that in mind because adding your tap water will up the ppm's in your nutrient solution. And your nutrients might make a ph...

    A couple of aero questions....

So what kinda nutes do you use? And what is the scale on your tds meter? EC equivalent? 500 ppm to 1.o EC or 700 ppm to 1.0 EC? Important factor, I use a Hanna ppm meter at 500 ppm to 1.0 EC. I max out in flower about 1.5 EC = 750 ppm. Maybe just my grow but over that burns them, especially...
