    u think they are ladies?

From the looks of those plants, its definitely too early to tell if they're male or female. However, as I said before, the seeds that came from the Hermaphrodite plant will be female 100%. Or possibly hermie themselves depending on why the plant mutated.

Lighting after germination and before spouting

Once you put them into the soil, start the lights. The seedling will grow upward out of the soil seeking the light.

    u think they are ladies?

Its a bit hard to tell from the pictures, also no information on how old they are. They're not showing whether or not they're male or female, but the seeds from the Hermie plant are 100% female.

Veg tent light setup - worth it?

You don't need T5's for your clones. Regular T12/T8 bulbs, $20 for the fixture at Wal-mart will grow your clones just fine. You can grow your mother plants under regular old Fluorescent bulbs too. Fluoro's put off almost no heat and likewise you can lower them to almost directly on top of...

    Sick Cuttings/Clones help please

They look fine to me. After awhile clones will droop because they have no water and no root systems. You need to get a humidity dome. Spraying them once or twice a day is not sufficient enough. Adding a dome will allow the humidity to rise to close to 100% around your plants, decreasing...

    Best Hydroponic Nutrients???

I use General Hydroponics 3 - Part flora series. For my mother plants I use a mild 1:1:1 G:M:B ratio depending on their size, they grow quickly and always look nice. For flowering I use the Lucas Formula, which is about a 1:2 ratio of Micro to Bloom, starting with 8ml per gallon. I get...

anyone run into problems with the totes as resavoirs leaking?

I use something pretty similar to that for flowering except mine don't have wheels. Also I don't know if the blue ones are light tight. I had to test a lot of the sterilite ones before I found one that was sufficiently light tight. Anyway, so far I have not had any leaking or splitting...

    Mile High Mango Grow

Greetings from the Mile-High City. Big fan of the site; read it almost daily. I've gotten a lot of good information from here. I've been growing for a little while now and after some trial and error, seem to have gotten the hang of my little DWC system, so I thought I'd share my first...

    Top Sides of Plants?

As long as your plants are still in a vegetative state, it is safe to manicure/crop branches for space-conserving issues. Doing so during a flowering stage will most likely decrease your yeild. If you plan on flowering the big plant, go through and strip off all the lower branches and leaves...

    What's wrong with this plant?

This could be one of a few things. A) You have over watered your plant, causing it to droop. The root-zone does not have enough oxygen. I see that you're growing in soil, when doing so it is important to add soil amendments such as perlite or vermiculite, to increase drainage and promote...

    Brown spotsey spots, dying leaves

Hello, I'm growing DWC and had a few problems early on with light getting to my roots and nutrient burn. Since then, my plants look much better. However, on some of the older leaves there are strange brown spots appearing on them, from which the leaf dies around. Also on some other leaves...

2nd grow.. follow with me and help with problems

In my opinion I think that you should be using NO nutes. Early DWC is much like aeroponics where nutrient uptake is optimal. I had this same problem in my first bubble-system. Your plants can grow a month without any nutrients. Adding nutrients while they're young is a good way to burn...

2nd grow.. follow with me and help with problems

I'm not a guru or anything but I'd like to help you out if I can. Yellowing leaves can be 1 out of 100 different things, Can you please provide some more elaborate information about your set up? Please include the age of your plants as well and describe where the yellowing is starting from...

    Plants are droopy

Plants are still looking up - Humidity was really low today so I went out and bought a humidifier, have it running next to plants and humidity is up to about 35% after maybe an hour. The plant that was the droopiest is still drooping but I suspect maybe it has the worse damage. The rest have...

Guide to Hydrogen Peroxide in hydroponics systems.

DWC problems. Root Rot & algae :(

Check out my post https://www.rollitup.org/dwc-bubbleponics/308169-plants-droopy.html#post3907248 I had the same problem. Definitely have to make it light tight. Also, the Petco/Petsmart air pumps designed for aquariums are not good enough in my opinion. They may properly oxygenate...

    Plants are droopy

Well, nobody replied to my thread but I figured I'd update anybody who read it Today the plants are 30 days old from seed. Their growth seems to be stunted from their early problems but new root growth is looking great and I expect the tops to follow shortly. I am using two fluorescent strip...

    Plants are droopy

Hello! This is my first post on RIU but I've been reading for a few weeks, really enjoy the site. Nice to meet all of you, my name's Kris and I'm 21. So, my mother and I started our own bubbleponics system (bubbleheads ftw), and decided to start out with a SWC rather than a DWC. I'm about...
