I could sure use some help diagnosing this problem - the buds looked like normal purplish kahunas at first - but they are getting darker and darker. I removed these from the room (indoor) - what do I do to keep the rest of the plants from getting this? Thanks!!

Thanks fdd - I am a bit disappointed with the yield. Waaah. For my second grow I am going to focus on increasing the yield. I was a bit surprised by the challenge it was to raise a couple of weeds! Geee. Is it your opinion that I should harvest now - or would it be best to wait a bit longer?

This setup would also work great with a hydro in-line bucket system. Probably need one reservoir (15 gals ), pump, & air pump for each 10 plants.

So how do you like the kahuna? Monster plants, eh? I experienced 100 % germination using their seeds. About 50/50 male-female ratio - but it could be due to the 10,000 rookie mistakes I made. I'll post the ratio of second grow when they are sexed. Great communication also. Glad to hear...

My 5 week seedlings are vegging currently at 24/0. I think you have me confused with another poster. You are recommending that I switch to 20/4 now? When do I switch to 18/6? Then when I want to determine sex I should give them 24 hrs complete darkness and then put lights at 15/9? Thanks!

Thanks for your quick response. I was not aware that the plants could show sex during veg. Is that true? i hate to lose the time to go to flower to force sex and return to veg. So you are saying that just stay in veg for 8 weeks and plants will show sex?

This is done during veg? Could you please explain further - roll the lights back one hour? I am currently vegging at 24 hrs day light. Seedlings are 4 weeks old and I would like to eliminate the males as early as possible. Thanks!
