Im a little confused. When you use hydroton, do you put the clay pellets in the net pot and the net pot in ANOTHER pot? Or can you just fill up a pot with clay pellets and be done with it?

I was thinking of buying very high output by Advanced Nutrients. But I heard if you mix it with Wet Betty it works better. Anyone ever do this?
