Can anyone help me out here? I've never determined the sex of a plant before and I can't tell if this is a male or female.:-? Is it too early to tell? The plant has been on 12/12 for about 9 days now. The light schedule was kinda screwy for a few days because the timer was broke. Any help...

I usually water it every night or every other night. I have a small bottle I fill up with distilled water. I'm growing in straight coco so I usually check to see it's it moist.

Sorry, forgot to mention it is an indoor plant. I had for about 2 weeks under x4 6500K CFLs, before then it was under some old fluoro tubes I had lying around. It's now 3 weeks old. These holes didn't start appearing until about 2-3 days ago.

So the other day I woke up and noticed some holes in my leaves. They don't really look like bugs but I'm not sure. It almost looks like they were torn. Can anybody help me out?

If I stick with just coco as a medium is it cool, or is soil going to provide better results?

Well, I seemed to have ran into a problem with my 4ft fixture. Since the area I'm growing in has a slanted ceiling, I can either have the light hanging from the slanted ceiling, or I could fit it horizontally along the back wall. Either way, it's not going to be ideal.
