I've always had good luck with fem seeds. 1 or 2 hermies over 6 or 8 grows, so that's pretty damn good. Ideally, I'd rather go with regular seeds but right now I'm not in an ideal set up so I can't afford the time or space to deal with males. That's why fem seeds are the way to go for me.

FFOF is a great growing medium, I swear by the stuff. However, if I had to have it shipped or make a 4 hour drive to buy some, I'd opt for a more generic blend available at a local garden center, add a generous dose of perlite and instead use the FF nutes. A much cheaper alternative.
