i voted no because the actual root mass of most hydroponic applications are the same size or smaller than most soil/soiless grows, with incredible results, yet you never hear about them being 'rootbound'. If you took a healthy plant from a small DWC setup, stuck its roots in a 2 gallon gallon...

good article, but it is mainly referencing container gardening for bonsai, and can take a period of years to become truly rootbound, not sure if it's completely applicable to MJ, who's lifetime is measured in months rather than decades. It did make a good point though about the relationship...

I recently chucked some male pollen from a regular Wreckage, onto a femmed Blue Cheese. I'll grow out a few in a couple months, see how it goes.
