Anyone know why my leaves are pointing up?

Hi everybody, this is my first grow and I'm currently turning my dresser into a grow box. It's pretty much finished, I'm just waiting for 4 more pc fans in the mail to put in it for intake/exhaust. It currently has a 400w hps in it, a 6 plant drip system, and 2 plants growing in soil next to it...

Are there any programs out there for help with hydroponic growing? I don't have any timers so I have to do the lights and feeding myself so I was hoping there was something that could remind me since I'm infront of the computer most of the day.

Ok, so I'm about to start a drip system with net pots filled with hydroton rocks and a rockwool cube in the center of each for my seeds. My question is, will i be able to leave my drip system on, or should I use a watering schedule because of the rockwool?
