Thank you for this! Saw some ovules floating in my olive oil and thought it was full of bud eggs! I have some outdoor that foxtailed like crazy, making the calyxes kinda swollen but the bud is not that great for smoking so I’m gonna make hash and edibles.

Found a RIU thread that seems to explain it… it’s plant matter! Just plant ovules from inside the calyx. Now I can make edibles and not throw out several jars of usable bud. Nice!

Just saw these start floating up as I began cooking the oil. Bud seemed ok, was dried and cured. Are they immature calyxes or seeds, therefore ok to cook with? Or bug eggs, so I should just throw it out? It’s some outdoor I grew myself, a bunch of the smaller buds
