    Help with Seedling

Obviously I’m making mistakes. That’s why I’m reaching out to strangers on the internet. I’ve got a peat based soil with amendments that’s been cooking for 3 weeks now so I’ll just transplant into that and see where it goes. Next time I’ll not get cheeky trying to make a seed starter with extra...

    Help with Seedling

Gotcha, without the nutes would my best bet be transplanting them into larger containers with a good soil? Soil and Gaia green is what I am trying to do so that is what I have on hand. I’m guessing starting in the coco mix was a bad idea and I should just go straight to soil next time.

    Help with Seedling

The pic could be a little misleading, I had put some worm castings on top before I watered it today. Idk I just figured I would rather do something than nothing I case it was a nitrogen deficiency or something. I’m waiting a couple days before watering and waiting until the cup is light and dry...

    Help with Seedling

I’m using distilled water, it’s PH is 5.9. I watered it a bit heavier last time than previously so I could see that being the problem. The soil was pretty dry this morning (last time I watered was Thursday night) so I gave it a little bit of water today but not so much that there was any run off...

    Help with Seedling

I’ve been giving only water so far and am going to transplant into a soil...

    Should I transplant these?

I’m trying to do an organic method with dry amendments but I could get a bottle of nutes to get through until I transplant I suppose. I was hoping I could get through long enough that the transplant into soil would give it the nutrients that it needs. I didn’t start the seeds in my soil I made...

    Should I transplant these?

First Timer Here, I’ve got 4 Apple Fritter Photos going in a 4x4, absolutely no idea what I’m doing lol. I’m trying to figure out when I should transplant these. They are in their 3rd week since germinating. What should I be looking for? I’m planning on going from the current nursery pots to...

    Spent mushroom substrate as compost?

I was able to find some info from Penn State that suggests that all I have to do is “weather” the substrate for 6 months and then it should be good to go. Looks like this summer I’ll be running a little experiment.

    Spent mushroom substrate as compost?

Has anyone used or heard of using spent mushroom substrate as compost in soil? I am also a mushroom grower so I regularly have spent substrate but I usually bury it the backyard and when it rains sometimes I get little surprises. I am brand new to growing cannabis and I have taken the organic...
