Mag/N Deficiency? PH issues? Yellow leaves/red petioles

FYI. Here are what they look like as of yesterday's feeding. Looks like I have about a month or so left so hopefully they survive until then.

Mag/N Deficiency? PH issues? Yellow leaves/red petioles

Ok sounds good. On my next feed I will keep EC around 1.0. Since my tap is coming in at .5, I imagine I would have to really lower my dosages for BB and TB.

Mag/N Deficiency? PH issues? Yellow leaves/red petioles

Read that 6.5 was good for soil, rather 6.3-6.8 so I was staying in that range the whole grow. I did end up having runoff that crept low PH few weeks ago, around high 5s. I have since top dressed with dolomite lime and it seems to have brought it back up, but I will start watering at a higher...

Mag/N Deficiency? PH issues? Yellow leaves/red petioles

I've been trying to follow these charts another kind member of this forum has shared with me. Where do you get your EC ranges from? Is it just from experience? My tap comes in at .5 EC, so I think if I remove GB now at this stage and just keep BB and TB I should be able to reach a lower EC...

Mag/N Deficiency? PH issues? Yellow leaves/red petioles

Update: Got my TDS/EC pen and I have made some measurements and observations. Here's where I'm at currently @ week 9 from seed, roughly week 6 in flower. First, here's the feed I applied (FF Trio): 15mL BB/gallon 5mL GB/gallon 7.5mL TB/gallon Input PH 6.5 Input EC 2.5 Output PH 6.3...

    Lower yellowing leaves

Ahh got it dude thanks. That makes sense since organics degrade and get absorbed slower.

Mag/N Deficiency? PH issues? Yellow leaves/red petioles

My medium is happy frog, which is milder than ocean forest so you may be onto something. I got my pen coming in tomorrow which coincides with my water schedule so I'll keep y'all posted.

    Lower yellowing leaves

Wouldn't you want lower ppm coming out? Runoff ppm should be lower vs input ppm to signify the roots are taking in nutrients? I could be misunderstanding this but I was of the impression the roots eat so less should be running off.

    Lower yellowing leaves

Hey man, glad to see you've resolved your issue. Question for you though: could you explain in a bit more detail as to how you arrived to the conclusion that it was N and K deficiency? I'm asking because I am experiencing similar symptoms and I was under the impression I have a ph and/or...

Mag/N Deficiency? PH issues? Yellow leaves/red petioles

After doing more research into EC/TDS measuring (Don't know why I didn't research this more to begin with because now it's a "duh" moment) I ordered the bluelab EC/TDS pen. I imagine if I test the runoff of the sickly one I'll have a better picture of what I'm dealing with. Like @goofy81...

Mag/N Deficiency? PH issues? Yellow leaves/red petioles

So if I were to get a TDS/EC measuring pen, I imagine I SHOULD expect to see lower EC in my runoff than input. If I see higher, then likely I have massive salt buildup in my medium that's running off with each watering, causing a higher reading. In an ideal situation, my runoff PH should...

Mag/N Deficiency? PH issues? Yellow leaves/red petioles

Yeah I noticed tip burn early on when I started to feed so I slowed down on the feeding strength, but nothing was changing. This is my third grow and much better than my previous two, but I'm still learning. I'm reading up on EC and how to measure it properly. I bought the blue lab PH pen...

Mag/N Deficiency? PH issues? Yellow leaves/red petioles

Hi everyone, been getting a lot of good info from this forum and hope to get some good insight to what my issue could be. Medium is FFHF 3 gallon fabric pots Temps 78-84F RH 35-45% Week 9 from seed, about 6 weeks since preflower Strain is (likely) GSC auto; I say likely because I don't have...

    Lower yellowing leaves

Yup, fed with 1 tbsp epsom salt per gallon of water a couple of days ago. My understanding is these leaves are not going to recover but I should see deficiency stop. Any idea how long it takes to see progress? I think I read somewhere Mg deficiency exists for 4-6 weeks before becoming...

    Lower yellowing leaves

Take a look at my plant. This really looks like all the photos I see of magnesium deficiency from my research. It's interesting that you mention N deficiency also, because I'm seeing this deficiency mostly on the one that I LST trained the most and seemed to stretch the most during preflower...

    Lower yellowing leaves

I'm in a similar boat as you, I don't have close up photos but I can take one later. Autoflowers, around day 50 and the problem looks very similar to yours. I'm thinking mine is a magnesium deficiency and I fed my plant 1tbps epsom salt per gallon yesterday. I'll be monitoring my plants and...

Maxsisun PB2000 Pro (light intensity question)

Thanks everyone for their replies. I have since installed an exhaust, with carbon filter, raised the light as high as it can go in my tent, and have been raising the intensity slowly while monitoring temps/rh. I have also changed my light schedule to run on during the cooler time periods (I'd...

Maxsisun PB2000 Pro (light intensity question)

I'm pretty sure these are straight up flowering now. I've attached a photo of the three (as of yesterday) I have growing in the tent. (Would also appreciate any other tips/advice for my plants and setup). Thanks for the tip, I will start the process tonight to start transitioning the light...

Maxsisun PB2000 Pro (light intensity question)

Yeah, that was my plan to change the hours of light during flip... but apparently my seeds that were supposed to be photoperiods are autos. I'm not sure if I want to change the light cycle now even though I understand that light cycle is not that critical for autos as they have a predetermined...

Maxsisun PB2000 Pro (light intensity question)

Forgot to mention that I do also have a couple of clip on fans in there to have some circulation at least to prevent stagnant air. That's probably what's still keeping my girls alive right now.
