    Mid week 8 GDP

In my experience, GDP likes to finish up around 9.5-10 weeks, and you look on track for that.

Increasing Inflorescence Dry Weight and Cannabinoid Content in Medical Cannabis Using Controlled Drought Stress

I came across this paper a few months ago, it’s definitely intriguing. I’ve yet to test it out indoors, but I did a guerilla grow outdoors over a decade ago during a particularly bad drought year, and while the end product was subpar in some regards (almost entirely due to a terrible approach to...

What are your 3 favorite garden tools for getting it done?

Which model scissors did you get? I've been looking into getting a pair from either ARS or Chikamasa, but there are so many models to choose from, it's kinda intimidating

What are your 3 favorite garden tools for getting it done?

Dude hard agree on the blumats - you don't realize how much time you spend watering until you don't have to anymore. Plus, it's great having your plants basically water themselves when they want it.

    Hugo blocks and blumats?

From what I've read, you need to dial the nutrients back a little bit compared to a typical drip system since there's basically no runoff with blumats.

    Hugo blocks and blumats?

Found it: https://new.sustainablevillage.com/blumats-in-grodan-or-rockwool I don’t think it would be an issue. My understanding is that they work in basically every medium except stuff like clay pellets, where it’s impossible to form a good contact with the blumat carrot

    Hugo blocks and blumats?

I'm also interested in this. I know there's an article on Sustainable Village (the US distro for blumats) about using it successfully with a fairly large rockwool grow successfully.

How can we tell what's real & fake Samsungs & epistar chips? If anyone can help identify ill send you 5-$1 menu items.

Yeah, Samsung doesn't make QBs, so the label is just letting you know that it's using Samsung diodes (allegedly), not claiming to be a Samsung board, if that makes sense. I agree with NukaKola, it's obv a Chinese replica, but that doesn't mean they're not legit diodes. At the end of the day...

    Indoor Lighting vs. Mother Nature

He just announced that he was closing down, but mass medical strains shares a similar philosophy, that there are valuable qualities in landrace sativas from back in the day that have been somewhat forgotten about in the pursuit of the denser, more convenient instagram-worthy indicas. might be...

LED recommendation for 1'x3'x3' early veg

I know none of yall asked for this but here's a pic of the light I built for my 3x3 flower zone. Already had the 240w QB in there, but wanted to supplement it with the remaining f-strips I had.

The Chinese Quantum Board Knock Off Builds

Any of y'all ever get offered a free sample on alibaba? A rep from a relatively new company called "indexgrow" messaged me offering me a free sample, and I'm tempted, but wanted to make sure it wasn't a scam first.

LED recommendation for 1'x3'x3' early veg

Thanks! I noticed that you also have the same (or similar) tent. I highly recommend going the DIY route. Once you have a basic grasp of the electrical aspects, it’s surprisingly easy to design a circuit. The physical building aspect is obv easier if you have tools but you could def use 80/20 and...

LED recommendation for 1'x3'x3' early veg

I know the person who runs growlightinfo.com says they're decent as far as amazon led strips go, at least the 6500k and 3500k ones. I wouldn't use them for anything more than supplementary light though, or maybe for seedlings. Also i dunno if you missed my previous posts in this thread, but I...

LED recommendation for 1'x3'x3' early veg

Hey y'all, a little late but here are some pics of one of the finished products. I'm extremely happy with how it turned out! Coverage is super even, and runs way cooler than the mars hydro, since the diodes are way more efficient and I can have the driver outside the tent.

I’ve got one that I got as a clone. Agree that it takes very very well to training

LED recommendation for 1'x3'x3' early veg

It's def overkill for early veg, but until I can get the timing of my perpetual grow down, I'm probably going to have to do more than just early veg in there, lol. The nice thing is that they'll dim down to next to nothing, but even with a relatively underpowered driver (the 2ft double row...

LED recommendation for 1'x3'x3' early veg

I ended up scoring a deal on some 4000k Samsung F-series strips and after a shit-ton of research (thanks LEDgardener!!) paired 3 of the double-row 2 ft strips with an HLG-120H-48B. They're working great - plants seem to love em and the coverage is soooo much more even. I've had em hung naked to...

LED recommendation for 1'x3'x3' early veg

Hey y'all, I've got a tent that has a 3x3 main tent and two 1x3 compartments on the side. I'd love for some recs for strip-style LEDs for early vegging (aka post seedling but before they get beefy) in the side compartments. I currently have an older Mars Hydro model in there (blurple + white...
