Day 58 of flower - another week or two?

This is a GG#4 x Citral Skunk - I have three going in total, but this pheno has been about 1-2 weeks ahead of the other two. It has developed and flowered a lot quicker. Here are a few trichome shots of mid/top level buds. What do you guys think? I am thinking another week to two should do the...

Question about root mass in soil

Thanks for sharing your method! I am going to try that out to see if I can improve the root growth. The two experiment plants that I started in pre-soaked soil (as you also experienced) are already ahead of any other seedlings at this age (day 8 now). My plan was to leave them alone for about 2...

Question about root mass in soil

Hey RIU - hope 2021 is off to a good start for all of you. I've got 3 runs now under my belt with autoflowers and I am still missing something when it comes to size and I think my root balls might be telling me something. I recently harvested two Night Owl Spotless Mind plants that will maybe...

Anyone that is using Dr Earth, I have a few questions.

Decided to go all organic with this current grow. I am using Fox Farm Ocean Forrest w/ 30% perlite as a base in a 3 gallon smart pot. Not sure if the FFOF falls into that organic category, but it seems good enough for me anyway. Here is my plan for feeding: -No nutrients until week 4 top dress...

Thinking I need about another 1-2 weeks on these, thoughts?

By flush I mean just giving them plain water each time they are dry in the typical amount I have always given them. Just to be clear. Sometimes when you say flush others might think you’re dumping x3 the size of the pot in water volume. Yeah, the fading colors started about a week or so ago...

Thinking I need about another 1-2 weeks on these, thoughts?

Hey thanks man, appreciate it. I was actually flushing this harvest for comparison against my last harvest that I didn’t flush. Trying to see for myself versus just going by what the majority say is right.

Thinking I need about another 1-2 weeks on these, thoughts?

Hey RIU. Got a couple Bruce Banners in week 7 of flower, and I’m starting to see about 15% clear trich heads and a few amber trichs showing on some of the sugar leaves. Im thinking (hoping) they’ll be good to go in another 1-2 weeks. What are your thoughts? I’m trying to get a feel for...

Brown spots showing up in between leaf veins, but only on a few leaves and not on my other plant

Hey RIU! I have a question regarding some brown spots on a few of my leaves. These spots only occur on a few leaves, and on my other plant (both Bruce Banner) it is showing no signs of these brown spots. This has slowly occurred over the past two weeks. I am not too worried about it since I've...

    Growing in tropical countries !

How do you manage the plants outdoors in a tropical climate? Just based on my experience trying to grow a few plants outdoors in Florida (for climate, think 95+ degrees Fahrenheit with 100% humidity, and downpours all through summer), the lighting never mattered. It was a constant fight against...

Does anyone feed with every watering in soil?

Dude awesome. I have inadvertently been doing it this way. The only difference is I’ve gotten up to 1000ppm at this point. Think I might stop there. I did do a feeding yesterday, at that ppm and no nute burn yet. But yeah, I’m there with you on that high ppm feed. It seems like it would...

Does anyone feed with every watering in soil?

Thanks for the reply man. I’m currently watering them to ~15% runoff with feedings just as a precaution in hopes that will wash away some salts. Never heard off that method you mentioned but it seems like it’s a safe bet. Appreciate the info

Does anyone feed with every watering in soil?

My last run, I was a bit hesitant to give a full on feeding in fear of messing something up. And as a result, I think I left a bit on the table at harvest time. That and the leaves faded out a lot quicker than typical. The plants started eating themselves around week 5 of flower. For my...

On my 2nd run with a QB LED board, and I am still getting leafs that loose color in between their veins

Thanks mate, I can do that. I mentioned I had that N tox with a plant on my last run, and that has conditioned me to under-feed I suppose. I'll bump the next feeding up to 700-800ppm and see how that goes for me. Appreciate the insight! Happy growing.

On my 2nd run with a QB LED board, and I am still getting leafs that loose color in between their veins

Hey thanks for the reply. I forgot to mention the PH of my feedings. Typically I PH down to around 6.4-6.6ph for all feedings and waterings. I am using tap as well, but my water report shows a very low amount of calcium in the supply. The first feeding with these nutrients was about 25% of the...
