    First hydro grow check-up

My first hydro grow is starting to take off now that it's hit the water. The roots are growing daily. The color of the plant looks a little off to me though. It looks a bit too green which would suggest to me an excess of nutrients. My ppm is 80 and it's staying relatively stable I think.

    2020 MASSACHUSETTS outdoor grow Thread!

My two girls are looking good for my first outdoor grow I think. Other than a nitrogen deficiency cause I've been too busy at work and too lazy to fertilize them. One of them is a monster cropped clone from an indoor grow!

Help!!! This is my first grow and wondering if anyone can tell me what would cause the plants to look like this?

I'm new to hydro as well, I would make sure that you are following the nute schedule. What are your ppms after adding the nutes?

What happens if you supercrop the whole plant

Wow that is seriously awesome. I'm going to have some going indoor over the winter and then place them outdoors in spring I think so they get huge!

Will a seed grow a root faster under a laser.

Will a seed grow a root faster under a laser.

As that paper says the negative effects are impacted by spot size and power. Obviously it would have to be a lower power laser with a spot size the size of the seed.

Will a seed grow a root faster under a laser.

The best wavelength would be red right? A red laser would stimulate root growth the best if I'm not mistaken.

Will a seed grow a root faster under a laser.

What about a laser aimed at a seed? So light only hits the seed and not the roots?

Will a seed grow a root faster under a laser.

I have a theory that I need all of you to prove wrong for me. Once a seed has a taproot out shouldn't it benefit from an intense light source. Some of the light would pierce through the shell and hit the enclosed cotelydons right? And thus fuel the growth of the taproot by a small amount. Please...

    Germinating seeds on my ballast

For the impatient it allows you to see the progress. I would be digging through the soil to see if the seed had sprouted. This way I get to feel special! Edit: also I'm doing dwc and these seeds are going straight into hydroton. I wanted to know they were sprouted before putting them in.

    Germinating seeds on my ballast

I was thinking about where I could place my seeds that was warm. The ballast for my hps is the perfect spot! Just don't let any water drip on the ballast!

A simple trick to gain 10 extra inches

Starting from a seed place the plant in a deep pot allowing the root to go down unimpeded. The taproot should grow thick, as thick as the stem above. Use the stem of the plant to gauge the length and thickness of the root. When it is at the desired length simply employ my new technique...

What happens if you supercrop the whole plant

She seems to be responding well. The branches look like there thickening slightly and it's exploding with new growth. The secondary smaller branches are growing like wildfire.

What happens if you supercrop the whole plant

I realized there's not much to update, since you can't really tell much is different by looking. I crushed a whole bunch of spots on the branches, twisted back and forth and then left them to heal. So far so good!
