    LED vs H.I.D

So let me get this straight, you’ve made a bunch of bold claims, provided no evidence, and now you're just hoping no one presses you on it? That’s cute. But unfortunately for you, that’s not how facts work. If you're going to make sweeping statements, the burden of proof is on you, not the...

    LED vs H.I.D

Where did you get information that the navy grew tomatoes in submarines with HIDs in 77-78? I cant find any documentation of it. What i can find is information from the mid 2010s that the Navy started growing hydroponics under LEDs. This is the second time you've shared this, how exactly do...

    LED vs H.I.D

It’s not a “claim” when it’s supported by data. LEDs being more efficient, cooler-running, and capable of delivering targeted spectrums isn’t up for debate anymore, it’s just reality. The real joke is pretending we accidentally created the perfect grow light for cannabis with 90s-era street...

Do LED Lights Really Improve Yield?

Thanks for the link to the study, but I don’t see how it validates your claim that supplementing with more blue light improves quality or that 5500k HID grows higher quality buds. And just to clarify, I never said spectrum doesn’t matter or that UV is useless. What I said is that efficiency...

Do LED Lights Really Improve Yield?

I respect your preference for HID, but there's a lot here that feels more like opinion than evidence. Let's clear a few things up: 1. Spectrum ≠ Efficiency. Saying a light is "more efficient" because it emits more wavelengths, including infrared and UV, misunderstands how plants use light. Over...

Lashing out at Advertisers is nonsense please stop

You're on a forum with a TOS, no one is arresting you for saying what you want, but that doesn't you can't be banned for violating TOS. So no, this has nothing to do with free speech.

    Need a fresh start , suggestions ?

It's always good to be mindful of your inputs for sure. From everything I've read, the risk of using aquarium water is so low that it's not even worth worrying about, that's me personally.

    Need a fresh start , suggestions ?

I didn't know that, thanks for pointing it out. I keep predators so they mainly eat freeze dried insects and frozen tilapia, but I've definitely used aquarium water with fish fed with commercial fish food before. From everything I've read though, aquarium water should be safe on edible crops...

    Need a fresh start , suggestions ?

Any reason why you want to strictly stick to organics? I'm currently using Promix HP with Gaia Green 444, Gaia Green Glacial rockdust and also using Epsom salt, calmag. It's been the easiest grow I've done to date, I just amended my Promix with the reccomended amount of 444, Glacial rock...

Opinion about growlight AC Infinity vs Spider Farmer kit.

Either of those would grow amazing peppers. ACI is generally more expensive and considered more premium than Spiderfarmer, but im very happy with Spiderfarmers quality as well. It really comes down to your budget and which you want, they're both more then enough for peppers.

    Too much or not enough

It's a magnesium issue causing that. Water with Epsom salt and it'll fix the issue.

When the leaves turn yellow in late flower

Sorry I mis-read your initial post or mixed it with something else, I thought i was responding to a thread about tuning spectrums for Fall. They can stay green until harvest, just ask anybody that's grown outdoors. I'm in Canada, some plants won't go yellow even when I harvest in October.

When the leaves turn yellow in late flower

Outdoor plants are capable of staying completely green until harvest, even the coteyledon stays green. Anyway I think tuning the spectrum toward Fall colors will not really provide any additional benefits. When the "Fall colors" are exposed, it means the chlorophyll in the leaf has severely...

Mammoth mint white emerald green 880w

If we agree that commercial growers has the most to lose/gain in all this, and you using the example of modern blurples being in a greenhouse, than how do you explain why commercial growers don't use those same red/blue fixtures when they grow indoors without the sun as a backdrop?

    Ks5000 to be discontinued

I was looking for a KS5000 about 6 months ago and there wasn't any stock in Canada for it, I figured they just didn't want to bring it here anymore, didn't know they were discontinuing the whole KS line. I'm not sure what's going on with them, I recently noticed they stopped putting Meanwell...
