How much did you have to process to get this result? Was is dried first or fresh cut? It looks like a lovely result. I'll be doing a run shortly myself. If you're new to this watch Frenchy Cannoli's channel. One of the supposed foremost authorities. You can watch his full process from...

    Has anyone seen this before?

Possible trifoliate but it looks to be growing out of it. You should be able to tell by now, 3 sets of leaves instead of 2 is a trifoliate. They look neat but I'm unsure if it's a positive trait or not.

If it's easier to process, consider my mix a hybrid soil / hydro mix. I used 30 yr old jugs of hydroponic A&B nutrients formulated for rockwool for nutrients. I flushed it with water. I hope this clears up your confusion. It was a first for me and an unusual situation I'm sure. I started...

Any suggestions for a good microscope for checking trichomes?

~$90 on ebay for microscope C-mount camera body, banggood, aliexpress... $30 for the cheapo lens. (spend more if you want good images) $15 for the magnetic base. I need working distance for hot tools between then lens and work surface, but if you put the lens up close with proper lighting you...

I'm in soil (1/3 black earth, 1/3 peat mix, 1/3 turface (Baked clay coarse grit soil amendment used for my bonsai soil)) and yes I'm flushing the soil. I won't use this recipe again, but I like the added turface, it just improves drainage and buffers a little bit. The sun just came out, pics...

I used a tablespoon of baking soda per gallon with just a couple drips of dish soap, I didn't get any leaf burn but it did turn the stigmas orange/brown a quicker. It seems fairly effective against the powdery mildew I was battling. It is not even spreading on the leaves that were already...

    Plant not revegging

Just an update on my earlier post, I'm in the home stretch. I can harvest any day now but I'm just in a solid 6th week of flowering, I was expecting 8 weeks but the wind and rain and 10c night temps seems to have sped it along. These pics are 6 days old and when it was still looking OK. The...

    Help!! Is this a hermaphrodite

Yes that is a male flower on a female plant. It looks open. When you remove it, examine it to see if it released any pollen.

5000K to 6000K metal halide were standard for veg before leds. Leds at 5000K will outperform metal halide at the same temp outputting higher PAR and having a fuller (less spikey) spectrum. In short, they will be fine as long as it's bright enough.

Mold-Free, Thankful, & Lookin' for Good, Solid Advice...

I sprayed with 1tbsp of baking soda in a gallon of water with a tiny bit of soap, safe to drink, actually good for an upset stomach... to suppress powdery mildew, I had a tiny amount on some lower leaves. I treated with BT (Bacillus Thuringiensis) a couple weeks ago. I saw 6 fresh eggs...

Yeah! It's Bud Worm Season. Pics

These weren't here (Essex County, Ontario) yesterday. Sprayed with baking soda and water with soap to suppress some powdery mildew and noticed these on the top cola of my pineapple express.

Ontario outdoor. Monster plant small buds???

watch out, these weren't here yesterday... Treated with baking soda and water with a little soap and noticed these. I'm gonna go double check because now I see more than 4. These were on my pineapple express, its just a baby with a few colas and that's the main one. I also lost the last split...

Ontario outdoor. Monster plant small buds???

Looking good, mine started flowering ~17th of Aug in Essex County. I got the powdery mildew this last week, I'll be spraying with baking soda / water / soap, spraying with magnesium sulfate and when I harvest I'll be washing in peroxide/water before drying. Seeing gains daily, hoping to get to...

I got the powdery mildew, gonna treat with baking soda and water sprays until harvest and magnesium sulfate sprays (until I flush) and then wash in water and peroxide solution before drying with fans and hanging. It just showed up for me and I'm trying to be optimistic. In week 6 now, looking...

    Pistils vs. Trichomes

Thank you @ganga gurl420, You're dead on, I'm just 1 day in to my 6th week of flowering, shooting for 8 weeks weather permitting. Calyx (plural?) are swelling, I'm still seeing gains with each nice day. I was taught to hope for the best but plan for the worst so I'll be taking a couple stalks...

    Pistils vs. Trichomes

Took some 45-90x pics today after I lost a branch to wind and a split. I'm in week ~5 of flowering but I don't think the weather will hold much longer. This first pic you can see some ambering of the trichomes. This was a smaller weaker lower branch. I'm ok with any time now but I was...

    Drying in unfinished basement?

Probably the same thing minus the nerf gun. It makes very short work of spider webs in unfinished basements. You can even do ceilings but the splinters will catch fire. Obviously be careful. You can also drop the RH in a room pretty quickly with one, again be careful.

    Drying in unfinished basement?

The prep of my unfinished basement room consisted of torching the entire room with a propane flame torch, a big one, to make short work of spider webs which were everywhere. I followed this by vacuuming the room very well. Next I filled a sprayer with bleach and water and sprayed the whole room...

Yeah! It's Bud Worm Season. Pics

We're most of the way through harvesting two large (7' tall 5' wide) outdoor plants. So far the most interesting find was an m&m sized snail in one of the top colas, it slimed a small area which I cut out completely. I've had a couple batches of spider eggs/nest that needed to be cut out as...
