Sounds good, mix them 1 at a time. Order doesn’t matter.

Hmm, crazy... if all factors are consistent from both mediums, and the only change is medium and nutes, then I guess that’s your issue. PK for 6-8 days 3 weeks before harvest is good. Hard to tell without knowing your runoff ph/ec, but sounds like they need a boost in the feeding...after the...

Maybe following the grow guide to the T could be an issue. For my current strain, if I follow the guide exactly I’d have some very burnt ladies... how’s the run off ph/ec? Soil sample? no issues with environment? It’s getting cold in the north, I’m expecting smaller but much tighter nugs next...

Nice one. Likewise, I find the canna basics really effective. The only thing I changed was to swap the boost for an affordable alternative, bud xl. Does the trick. It’s interesting, all this talk of to defoliate or not, fine tuning systems, environments etc. It’s sll for nothing if you don’t...

nice man. You could keep on with experiment perhaps and try with a flat low canopy with little defoliation... good luck man, reckon it’s looking good either way. As you say, we experiment, learn, and improve.

Agreed. Nice plants though. From the eye, the tops look sweet, and a little less defoliated. The nodes that have been stripped of their big food factories look like they are struggling a bit... reckon you have some nice medicine nonetheless.... If it were me, I would have brought that canopy...

I’d love to see some fotos of heavily defoliated plants, big fan leaves removed, with massive, fist sized buds... to date, I have not seen anything that made me thing “WOW!!’”... Take away all knowledge of growing plants... everything I’ve learned over the years, and still wouldn’t defoliate...

Very wise words indeed ;) Yeh, I like jungles. Here’s my current jungle: They have gone through hell with an invasion of broad mites, but finishing strong imo, all things considered. Fill the canopy, only main colas, LST the hell out of them, utilize all the light... in the pic, I have 9...

I use pure coco and a few different types of leds. I run budget in veg, the king plus 2000 and the 1000. In flower, it gets a bit crazy, I run per 5x5 space the following: 1x HLG 550 in the centre 4x HLG 135 for each corner to give a uniform coverage. Love the HLG quantum boards, massive step...

It's a fantastic thread, but yeh, LOTS of info to get through. Followed the advice and swapped the airstone for a regular water pump, and running it 15mins every hour (timer has 15m intervals). cheers @NoviceKushVillage! 1 step closer to a fully dialled in grow. In terms of the feed schedule...

Thats a nice idea to use a pump on a timer. Personally, I just use an air rock to keep the water oxygenated in my res of 90Lt and to keep it moving around. But yeh, maybe just periodically running a water pump to swish it around is better. My idea with the airstone was to pump oxygen into the...

sorry to butt in - but, to add my 2 cents... I figure by cutting the large fan leaves that block the buds below a zero return, as the bud they support will suffer (more yield down below vs less up top). I go by the philosophy that if you need to cut a fan leaf because it's blocking a branch...
