Mammoth mint white emerald green 880w

imo mint greens get used to lift efficiency not for the spectral quality. mammoth are using mints plus an emerald green diode.

Mammoth mint white emerald green 880w

i have never flowered under the emerald green mammoths but imho there are a gimick. "normal" led's already have ample green i the spectrum, there is nothing to be gained by adding more.

Did I receive a "fake" Samsung board? Do they always damage this easy

like rocket says the only benefit of mixing different kelvin strips is if you are going to run the 2700k and 5000k on different channels. but to do this properly you have to oversize your light a bit, hypothetically if we wanted to build a 2 channel light for a 4 x 4 tent that gave us 1000 ppfd...

Looking Into LED - No Clue Where To Start

i have changed my mind i think mammoth are using monos for the greens, been having a play and can more or less recreate mammoths spectrum. it uses samsung mint evo + samsung lm301H evo 3000k + samsung lmb301B 5000k + osram 660nm + osram 730nm + 525nm(green). but it only comes out at an...

Looking Into LED - No Clue Where To Start

i believe the evo is a 437nm pump, im sure i have read 437nm somewhere in samsungs literature but its also a perfect match for this - hybrid InGaN/AlGaN-CuI blue led, (not from samsung).

Looking Into LED - No Clue Where To Start

there is nothing in either of those papers that suggests adding additional green light to a "typical" white led spectrum is a good idea. the first paper mammouth quotes from is using halogen as the white light source not led, halogens spectrum is extremely red heavy with medium/moderate amounts...

    1000w led for 6x6

yer i totally get why they use the mint evos on their lights (efficiancy), i just dont get why they have added more green mono's?. how efficient are current gen green monos?. yep and im totally on board with the thinking that some amount of green light is beneficial for (deeper in leaf)...
