I'm not sure why but the seedling looks so different then most. The taproot is still white while the top is starting become green? The leaves and top part are still curled in. Is it dead?

my seed popped a little after the paper towel method and a taproot was showing but it was bent in so I took it out and the seed detached from it. I still planted it but will it die? I transplanted only the taproot with a tiny green thing on the top of it
