In your opinion what does the plant spend its last weeks doing, ripening trichomes or thickening buds?

Hi I'm semi new to growing. Maybe 3 weeks from 3rd harvest. I have 3 - 10 other ladies in veg for 50 - 60 days (purchased seeds) and just cloned, in soil, 3 more. Trying to get a perpetual harvest going. I use a 11/13 photo period and scrog, lots of LST (duct tape and wire), love fox farm...
