So I have my 1000 watt MH going.. Seeds germinating as I type(bodhi Granola Funk and bodhi Cobra Lips)... My question is..... Can I Veg with T5's and my 1000 watt MH? Should I? Or should I use these CFL's from Walmart with the 1000 watt? Or should I use JUST the 1000 watt MH by itself?

I'm at the grow store right now and I'm about to purchase this soil call SunShine Mix #4....What else would I need to buy to add to this? Or should I buy a different soil-mix? PLEASE HELP ASAP

I have a 1000 watt hood with NO GLASS...Gets pretty hot during flowering...So does anyone have a good website i can purchase tempered glass possibly? Is it worth it? OR should i just get a new hood all together? (PICTURES BELOW) Thanks rollers!
