Ok i'm about to start on my first real grow and i want to use coco coir but im seeing all over the place people mixing the coco coir with perlite etc. Basically im just seeing a bunch of different mixes and could someone just tell me what brands i should by and how i should mix it and what nutes...

Pulled seed out after planting it a day ago b/c i didnt know if it was working *no patience* and to my surprise the root coming out the seed was long then i realized it was exposed to light only to a little bit of light and i replanted it. Are those seeds done and wont sprout?
