Noticed some dead leaves on the big buds on one of my Kryptonite plants. It's more of an indica, and has big dense buds. Upon inspection, realized that it was molding between the stem and the bud. Then started noticing that it's happening on a few of them. Should I pull it? And why is it...

I keep hearing of people who have topped all the big buds off of their outdoor crops... seems like it would be premature, and a waste. I would think that the bigger buds would be the last to be ready. Am I missing something? Or are those who do, just in too much of a hurry???

I'm curious how often I should be feeding using smart pots... I've got about four more weeks until harvest, and have been feeding about twice week depending on how fast the soil dries. I'm asking because I'd like to feed them more, but I don't want to waste these expensive ass nutrients. I know...

Needing suggestions on how to get rid of these ants. I've got my plants in smart pots, and noticed the same thing last year when I used them. I'm trying to avoid spraying anything on them, because they're about half way into flowering. I think they're building little black cocoon looking things...

Doing a little experimental growing in a couple of 5 gal buckets w/clay pellets and baskets. Noticed today that a white mold is growing on the pellets and that the water is looking murky... any hints on what I'm doing wrong???

Do I start the cuttings in the 1.5" rockwool cubes alone? Or do I place the 1.5" cubes containing the cuttings into the 4" cubes and wait for them to root? I'm trying the ebb & flow, top feeding system. Thanks for any advice :)

Someone was telling me that they saw a friend score the stalk of their plants with pliers and shake the plant. Apparently it sends the plant into shock and it is supposed to make the buds twice as crystally... anyone ever heard of anything like that?

I germinated some seeds recently and now they are almost two weeks old. I've noticed that some have three point leaves and others, leaves of five(like a typical pot leaf). I have a couple of indica clones that also have the three point leaves. Does this indicate anything special?
