When planting your germinated seeds, do you plant them about the length of a seed in the dirt with the seeds shell sticking out a slight bit. Or completely cover it? And what is the average time it takes for the seed to break out of the soil and vertically grow? Thank!s!

So when do you start counting how old your plant is? When you start germinating? Once your seed is germinated and planted? Or once it has sprouted out of the soil? Prob a stupid question, Help if you can please lol :<>

What are good cheap nutrients? I am looking at the fox farm set with (Big Bloom, Grow Big, and Tiger Bloom) On amazon for $45. Any sugguestions? or is that good stuff?
