i had searched "colored cfls" already and couldnt find anything please dont blow me up! i have been reading that plants need their blue and red spectrums. Would blue and red cfls work or not be beneficial in any way, im sure someone has tried this already... thanks in advance

my ph is at 5.8 and did "general hydroponics" brand nutes and i have the water touching the first layer or two of hydroton in the net pots. the roots i put on the first couple layers of hydroton that are touching the water. i have 6 23w 6500k and 2 23w 2700k cfls that are about 9-12 inches away...

i just put my plants from the soil pot into my home made dwc, will they be fine overnight without the water being pH at 5.8-6.3? i wont be able to get a tester and ph up and down untill the afternoon tomorrow.

i have 2 rubbermade totes with 5 plants per tote and i have 6 6500k 23w cfls with 2 2700k 23w cfls plenty of air flow no reflectivity yet on the walls, just plain white. im using bag seeds as this is a little experiment. im wondering what little inexpensive things i can do to get more yeild out...

no where around where i live sells net pots, OR have they heard of them. i even asked a couple NURSERIES! I was going to cut up some solo cups but that is too time consuming and they seem to crack. any info will help thanks
