What is the best way to induce flowering? I was going to do 24 hours of darkness, then go to a 12/12.... is that ok or should I go directly from a 18/6 to a 12/12 light cycle?

I just started with nutes yesterday... I introduced them to my plants at 1/2 the recommended dose to ease my plants in like I've read to do... I only watered enough to transplant them yesterday, and was going to give them some more tomorrow.... should I give them the lowered nutes, regular ph...

Before its time to flower my plants I want to get some new lights, but I am on a limited budget so the cheaper the better.... would a high voltage CFL do it?

I have a few soil plants on day 8 of growth. I watered them on day 5 with nutes... and I'm not sure when I should water again. I was thinking day 10 with nutes again, but I don't want to over fertilize. This is my first grow so I am being paranoid, lol.
