Ok the plants just started flowering about a week ago, buds are growing. I'm on 12/12 lightening with now more warm globes and watering is the same as veg, on 2 - 3 days. Now what do I have to change, what about nurients and watering? How long will they need to be in flower before harvest?

I have had my plants on 24 light but I want to start flowering. Does it matter if the darkness hours are not regular? I was thinking of manually turning the lights off each night before I go to bed but this could be changeable, so one night it might be 8 hours, another 9 hours, another 7 etc...

What is the silver material used in some peoples exhaust pipes? Is it vital to use this material and what is the reason that it is used? I know I have seen this using in kitchen exhaust pipes in the past so I guess it is the same thing. Here is a pic I found that shows one.
