Hey guys i was just wondering if putting a seedling into a 3 gal pot after germinating is a good idea? the 3 gal pot is where its gonna stay for its whole life any opinions?

took it out of the soil and held it in my hand for a minute or 2, i had to transplant the seedling into a larger pot, so i was wondering if the stress i put on it will make it stop growing :neutral: the seedling was about 1 inch long, plz help im new to growing any tips is greatly appreciated.
