Can I use surgical grade tubing in my ebb/flow table? reason is because i have about 1' of clearence between my tables and trays... so with the more rigid black tubing it does really allow for me to open my res. lid with out pushing up my tables. i'm also usin' one pump to fill 2 tables so...

So, the day i got my ballast from a bud, it worked fine with the metal hallide bulb, but the hps one never worked, i assume it was bad, but then i try today, and the hallide wont fire up right away, i just see the blue line going thru it. any ideas on whats wrong?
