Whats a quick way to increase the humidty my space is smlll about 2'6 x 2 im running a 400w Mh and its dryin my room out.....

Does it matter where i put it??????...when i place it on my cups it says the temp is above 100.......can that be right ????? when i read the box it said dont place in direct sunlight or light source...so maybe that was the reason.....i just dont want to put it to far because i dont think it will...
