So they're on Pi 5 now. I have two Pi 3B's. But they both are stand alones. One is my DMR hotspot for Ham Radio and the other is being used as my whole network ad blocker.

So... I bought a Raspberry Pi 5. My buddy convinced me to buy it and turn it into a media center to access his library via Kodi. Pretty cool. 8gb of ram. Pretty crazy. Not a huge fan of the desktop environment. But they did have some pretty cool stock wallpapers.

Go with a used thinclient from ebay, you can get a celeron as powerful/more powerful than a pi5 for like 40 bucks. I run Proxmox on one with a bunch of VMs including home assistant.
