    Raspberry pi

Newbie here. I've been taking a dive into controlling/monitoring using a Raspberry Pi. So far just using junk I have available. I've got a bluetooth hygrometer that I'm grabbing temp and humidity output from and using it to trigger relays. That was a victory. Also logging the data to a...

What did you consumer fucks buy today?

So... I bought a Raspberry Pi 5. My buddy convinced me to buy it and turn it into a media center to access his library via Kodi. Pretty cool. 8gb of ram. Pretty crazy. Not a huge fan of the desktop environment. But they did have some pretty cool stock wallpapers.

Go with a used thinclient from ebay, you can get a celeron as powerful/more powerful than a pi5 for like 40 bucks. I run Proxmox on one with a bunch of VMs including home assistant.

    War

...overcome the Russian jamming. I imagine things like image and scene comparison would be easy to implement these days, probably with a raspberry pi and that could take the drone to the final stages of the target. The same system cruise missiles used could be made cheaply today using google...

    Continuous PH / EC meters

Im interested in Growee’s automated system. I started to dive into the rabbit hole of Raspberry Pi, pumps, probes and power supplies. When all of a sudden I found this company Growee. I am struggling to get real-world feedback. Not some add, or a potential self-written review. It’s a decent...

I'd suggest you check out HomeAssistant if you're not familiar with it. It's open source and runs on minimal hardware, a VM, or a docker container. I send my sensor data to a HomeAssistant server via simple mqtt messages. HA takes care of the grunt work and creates a slick dashboard to view...

I kept my 5 phals for years lol. They lost priority last year due to some big home projects and a medical interlude. I had to park them outside for a while where they got too much sun and not enough water, and they would have taken a couple of years to be pretty again so I decided to clear the...

Thats looks really awesome man! I found a genius software for Raspberry Pi called Mycodo and think this might be interesting for you, this is written by a biologist, if your craftsmanship also involves soldering, you can assemble it very quickly and automate it without much software programming...
