The 285 nm seoul viosys I bought was about 20$ per unit at digikey...There are cheaper options..but I bought the most efficient ones.

Well,... I used 285nm seoul viosys led 3 hours and a half maximun with 60 mw output.. But also I used all time when lights on 365,385 and 410nm leds about 30 watts per square meter at flowering time. I used UVB since Veg , but increasing slowly exposure to the maximun at flowering time.

Well I was thinking in their UVB leds...I built myself a lamp with their 285 nm leds . This brand is the best.. althought Rayvio has some nices ones at 280 nm. I bought the seoul viosys in star form... it in digikey..sadly there no more avalaible now...

The link you send is about a led that is 275nm..this is a very short wavelenght..very dangerous to you and the plants...You should look for leds that have 285-310nm... The 280nm ones are easy to find and cheaper..but in my opinion in also dangerous cause what you really need is in 285nmk and 310...

You can buy 4 stars seoul viosys 285nm for 80 $.. They cover a square meter if drived at 150 ma which is 60 mw..or driven at 100 ma give 40 mw which is not bad at all.. Driver should be about 10 $

The best UVB led in market today is the seoul viosys regarding performance and self life, it cost about 20 $ each one..you need 4-6 leds per square meter...about 100 $. They should last about 3 years minimum...so 30 $ per year.. but probably less..uvb tubes should be changed every year... This...

I did two aluminium bars with 2 seoul viosys 285 nm leds per bar. Each bar has also 9 UVA leds 365,385,410nm..well the 410 is near UVA..So..two different channels one for the UVAs..and one for the UVB.. There was also another group of 3 UVA leds per bar that were connected in series with the UVB...

Yes, you are correct I used the four seoul viosys leds at 150 ma....a little more than the suggested 100ma..but the still not at the maximun current recommended.. so 15 mw per led.. 4 leds..60 mw 3,5 hours day ..but this schedule started at 30 minutes in veg and slowly ramping to the 3,5 hours...
