Medic Grow lights -- is this deal too good to be true?

I paid too much for individual Fluence Ray 66 lights (66 inches) ... at the time, I didn't know anything about PAR. Rays are meant for veg and, even with 6 bars over each 4x6 (720 watts), I'm only in the high yield PAR range for about 3" from the lights, so I have a roughly uniform distribution...

Anyone heard of Fluence Spydr i2 LED???

I have seen lots of bad drivers with fluence. But also have seen some nice buds you never no.They dont stand apart from any other Quilty built led bar light. But seems like a good deal if its not to old. Are you sure your getting a i2 because the size of a i2 is 42x47.

Anyone heard of Fluence Spydr i2 LED???

So, I have a friend who is going to sell me this light from his massive grow inventory that he's clearing out. For dirt cheap I might add... I'm wondering if this will pair well with my 4x4x7ft tent. He has the dimmer pigtail for it and I already have a potentiometer, so immediate dimming won't...

Anyone heard of Fluence Spydr i2 LED???

It's an i2. They actually come in 47", 40", and 33". This one is a 33". He said it has the vented drivers, that he did indeed have trouble with them, but that Fluence replaced all of them with the better model. I have no idea, I'm literally telling you what he's telling me lol. I find it crazy...

Help me pick my 4x4 light! $350 to spend

Oh ok! I thought Those were two different lights, I didn't know. I'm really leaning on this Fluence more and more. Especially two of them. Yea I didn't realize it was built like that.

Medic Grow lights -- is this deal too good to be true?

With backup drivers and up to 150k light hours on my now discontinued Fluence Ray 66 Fluence lights, I should be able to enjoy my current setup for another year+. I didn't buy them all at once -- some are about 4 years old and others are as new as a year old. I hadn't rechecked PAR since my...

    FC8000 ignites.

Just an FYI, Fluence had loads of driver failures on at least one model, I think it was the 2i. Personally, I'd just fix the Mars with a couple Wago's and run it. You could always put the M23's on to sell it.

Help me pick my 4x4 light! $350 to spend

I told you I have this fixture. It is heavy, each bar mounts to the driver housing with cheap hardware and each bar had its own wiring harness. the diodes are not the greatest. It runs hot and the driver is not removable. Tilting the bars makes no practical difference since the light is huge and...

Help me pick my 4x4 light! $350 to spend

So I know I'm going to probably get some backlash from this but..... Honestly this light here, the RDJ Bouns 720w is getting GREAT reviews, it has a warranty for 5 years on ALL OF THEIR PARTS. Samsung LM281B diodes, a Sosen driver, and is 700w+. Not to mention its 43"x42", so it'll fill the 4x4...

    High CRI White LED Chips/Strips

i already have some Fluence Spydr 2i’s that I will be flowering under. I just need a little clone light and a few mom lights just to keep them going. Everything is fairly height limited, so crazy PPF won’t be necessary. Not gonna be huge wattage builds, which is why efficiency and cost aren’t...

Fluence Spydr LED with Mean Well driver

Simply put I want to use the Mean Well series HVG series drivers to power Fluence’s Spydr series fixtures (example: Mean Well HVGC-650W Driver with a Fluence Spydr 2P. Firstly, are they compatible? Secondly, can I pull it off with a pretty basic knowledge of LED/wiring and a soldering gun? I’m...

Help me pick my 4x4 light! $350 to spend

So, as many know, I grabbed up a 4x4 tent with all the goodies. I have a couple of 200w QB's I'm running in it now, from my previous smaller setup, just to get things going. But it's time, I would like to order a permanent light for it on Friday. I already have a 600w MH hood, that ive converted...

Help me pick my 4x4 light! $350 to spend

400 is out of my budget sadly. But what panels are u talking about? Lol. The ones u don't recommend? And I guarantee you I can move that driver out of the tent lol. I can't find them for under $100, or right at 100. I'm kinda OCD about my Lights matching, so I want to fill it fully/correctly...

Help me pick my 4x4 light! $350 to spend

I didn't see any information about PPFD and since light quantity drives crop quality and yield, I would not open my wallet. I'm with @shnkrmn — my jaw hit the floor when I saw the XS-1500 Pro. As I commented on another cannabis site "Mars must hate that light." The spectrum is good but the PPFD...

Help me pick my 4x4 light! $350 to spend

"Penny wise and pound foolish". I wouldn't spend $340 on a light from a manfacturer that has zero market presence, and doesn't offer a PPFD map vs purchasing an product that's been well reviewed and well received and is backed by a company like Vipar. From what you've said, this is a stretch...

Help me pick my 4x4 light! $350 to spend

It's hard to beat free and Fluence has a good reputation. Philzon - check out their PPFD map. I clicked on this one completely at random. The goal in lighting a grow is to have an even canopy and to have a light that provides a uniform light cast from center to edge and center to corner...

Mars hydro fc8000 and fc e8000

Keep an eye on the connector between the driver and the light. I had two(before the first one melted) and they both got very hot at that connector. I am getting rid of my second one, my fluence lights do not even get warm at those connections. Mars Hydro support told me they had fixed this...

Need to buy or make a 6 foot push-lock diver to LED fixture cable for a Grow Light Science Progrow-320

Same as the 3rd bar light in "17"'s proto & every light since. Coming at no extra cost for the full length of cables needed nor is there any added cost for the 225$ Hortri-Centric remote. That's like $300 cheaper then their Shadow, Optic LED whom does not offer a full spectrum, unbalanced spd...
