Living Soil, Light Intensity, and LED’s

Looks like a K deficiency to me. I would never flush a organic soil or water it to 15% run off. What is the PH of the bed? Might just be locked out.

First Dry Amendments Grow, am I missing anything?

You might want to add some areration to the mix perlite pumice or small lava rocks most folks use 1/4 to 1/3 aeration in their mixes , also want to add a source of minerals basalt or azomite. Source of calcium to buffer the soil PH Oyster shell flour works well. A good solid mix will buffer the...

1 of my drivers is hot to touch.

Yeah sometimes people get issues when running them in parallel. Really need some amp readings to trouble shoot. I would triple check the wiring on the one that running cooler, does it look like it is less bright ( use sunglasses to look ).

1 of my drivers is hot to touch.

I always have a fan on mine to get the maximum life out of them, getting a amp reading for both drivers Would help to see if one is pulling more power. DC clamp meters will break the bank At least the cheapest fluke is 275 dollars here in the states. You can get one for the AC side for a lot...

1 of my drivers is hot to touch.

Doesn't take much to cool one down. Maybe a slight breeze is on the one and not the other. They can handle up to 90c which would burn rather then be hot. But the cooler they run the longer they will last as with pretty much all electronics. Got a Temp gun to get some readings how much hotter is...

    Light mover simulation

PPFD does care about your reflectors your foot print or anything else besides the ppf hitting the canopy. Once again you are confusing PPF with PPFD. Really man I dont have the time to school you on what PPFD is. I would highly recommend you check out the link live it learn it then you wont be...

    Light mover simulation

You clearly say you wont get more PPFD if you move lights closer. This simply is not true. PPFD is a measurement at the canopy the closer you move the light the higher the PPFD reading you will get. Now if you said you wont get more PPF then yeah that is correct a light will put out the same PPF...

If you could only use three amendments...?

Compost because I can throw any or all amendments in a compost bin, doesn't matter plants , minerals , animal products, bacteria, nematodes , ect , ect . Then I would go with a mycorrhizae fungi because that one wont survive composting. last one would be a horsetail fermented tea as a Anti...

Coots uses his own special made worm castings. Aged manure that is worked over by worms for a little more then a year. Red wigglers on top and nightcrawlers on the bottom of the smart pot worm bin. Has to be aged poo or it will kill the worms. He also feeds them malted barley and lots of fresh...

    Dimmers

I went with a PWM module 99 step dimming but you have to power it with 10 volts DC to get the proper output voltage the driver requires. Also have to make sure to set the HZ over a 100 and less then 3000...

    Nutrient deficiencies?

Thats never going to give you the PH of the medium which is pretty important in trouble shooting plant problems otherwise you are just guessing. You could get a PH reading by doing a slurry test here is a write up for a PH tester company on how to do that with a PH pen ...

    Nutrient deficiencies?

First thing to find out is what is the mediums or soils PH. If PH is in range then she is not locked out and is looking for food. Late in flower it is normal for the plant to consume the lower leaves but you look like you're in 3 or 4 week so a little early. Do you have a PH Pen ?

    Simple Compost tea help?

Tablespoon a gallon is pretty standard and after a 36 hour brew it should be mostly gone, consumed by the bacteria. But yeah it would be bad if you didn't let the bacteria eat most of it first before applying to the soil. It should also be unsulfured black-strap molasses lots of minerals in it...
