Very skunky with a hint of rotten something smell to it. Quite pleasing if you like skunk smell. The taste is a sweet skunk taste which is best described as a sweet smoke with a funky after-taste. I love stinky foods like super ripe cheeses so Maui Wowie is one that is right up my alley.

For me, it was Maui Wowie that had the most lime green buds. There were dark green flecks scattered throughout from some of the pin leaves not being trimmed right to the bud surface and the hairs were bright orange but very few and mostly retracted. The buds were definitely a lime-sherbet green.
