thanks for reply do you get humming noise when turned down..most say the variac as no humming when turned down.through the day its fine. not noticeable but i grow in shed and in the middle of the night.when all is quiet i could here humming sound out of the sms controler.

im looking at getting a variac fan speed controler for my 6inch rvk.i had sms twin control but took it back to shop as the humming noise was to loud when turned down.just wanted to no what amp variac i should get.there come in 1.5 amp/2.2amp/3.5amp/ and a few higher. thanks

cheers m8 thanks for reply i was reading that the x 500 was for the usa and the x 700 was for europe.as im from the uk. i use tap water wich is ph 7.2 .i take it down to 5.9. plant seems happy at that. thanks

im trying dwc for the first time ive bought a ph meter which i understand .i also bought a nutra-wand. my problem is one side says ec x700 the other side says ec x 500. which is the one i follow. thanks

i ran mine this way .filter-fan-duct-cooltube-duct-out dont no about vertically.probably socket up.some say if you run the fan after cooltube the hot air shortens the fans life.

yer m8 im sucking air through filter i dont think id have room to put fillter right on cool tube.im going to buy a 6inch rhino carbon filter fan set up as i read there good filters .i only paid 55 pound for the 4 inch of ebay new. its only done one grow and that was only 3 small plants.just...

i dont have a hydrogemeter m8 so i wouldnt really know, money is a bit tight.so haveing to get little bits at a time .and smell could become an issue were im growing so looks like carbon filter is now priority was looking at this one m8...

thanks for reply.its a 4inch carbon filter /fan.and a 6 inch cooltube.i already had carbonfilter. temps were getting a little high on warm days.89/90.so bought cooltube was the smallest one i could get.
