wally I just looked and yes some of the buds have 3 finger leafs growing out of buds--my guess genetics--all the fan leaves have 5-6-7-fingers too the leafs--maybe just trying too spurt some last minute growth before dying --don't know--but you were correct--there are a few if not more--too many...
