Your ph needs to be between 5.6 and 6.3 It needs to be in this range for your nutrients (your added fertilizer) to be availible to your plants. So pretty much you'll want to stay in that range, get a ph meter if you dont have one already. Also get some ph up and down, youll need both.

I think it depends on how you are setup to use the filter, meaning either scrubbing or for exhaust. My buddy has a 424 cfm fan and is torn as well between the can 66 or the can 50. I said go with the can 66, as its got a bigger surface area for the stink to go through, plus I think it weighs...

Use hygrozyme and lower your res temps. Of course after a good flush

you could also just dip the probe in some ph down solution (like a shot glass). The acid in the ph down will clean the probe..Makes it easy-peasy. :)
