Has anyone here ever started flowering under t5's and then switched to HPS half way through flowering stage? Any adverse or unwanted effects that you could think of from doing this?

I had thought about that Bird, but being a complete newbie, I'll probaby just stick to getting a somewhat successful first grow and maybe try my hand at clones on the next grow. Thanks for the advice.

Also, as I said....I am planning on flowering under T5's, 4 bulb....I'm just going to switch out the cool white veg bulbs that I'm using now with 3000K warm bulbs. I have a brand new 400w HPS lamp, but I'm a little leary of it now, on my first grow. My room is only about 6' x 4' with 8' ceiling...

So when they are half as tall as I would ultimately like them to be....I should switch to flowering?

I have the fan blowing across the plants. Should that be enough to contol the heat in a room the size of mine?
