I dont think the light would do anything. Its a tiny little red light. As dannoo said, Mother nature isn't completely dark either with the moon and stars and what not.

Just be patient and leave it alone. I use rapid rooters and a $5 little green house that I got from lowes. I also use an aero cloner that I made that works pretty good also. It could take a month to see roots out of the bottom. Roots out of the bottom to me mean that its time to transplant.

I grabbed a few cheap thermos from lowes. I think they were 9 or 10 bucks. I also grabbed a fish tank thermo from petco. The was only like $13.

I would agree with the fan. Also check to make sure the plant isn't leaning towards the light. If so just rotate the plant.

My general rule for transplanting is I wait until I see roots come out of the drain holes and the plant uses all of the water I give it in 1 to 2 days. Its worked for me so far. What makes you think its root bound?

I dont think the plant loses any vigor or potency with generations of cloning, I think we grow a tolerance to strains.

Is your plant leaning towards the light? If so I would turn the plant 180 degrees and it should lean back.

I think that ballast is dimmable but u still have to run the 1000 watt bulb. When dimmed it goes to 500 and 750 not 600.

How many sets of internodes are there? i have a 3" seedling with 4 sets of nodes and My t5 is a foot away. Just make sure they dont dry out.

You said that u flowered under a 400 mh? Hps would have prob had a better yield.
