    whats the fastest

The strains I'm growing this year are Hollands Hope and Early Pearl. I chose them for their mold resistance. I would assume there is all kinds of mold in Georgia, and that probably will determine how long you season is. They also have a short flowering time which helps for moldy climates because...

    First Grow - Newbie Questions

My friend grew Early Misty a couple years ago it has a nice short flowering time and make very sweet resinous buds. If you are going to start your seedlings outside, you might want to wait as late as June 1st, they'll still have about 2- 3 months to veg and then they should be all set until late...

The grass is turning green, seeds are sprouting, birds singing, and the days grow warmer. Spring is upon us and hopefully your plants are sprouted and nearly ready (for those of you in northern climates) to be put outside. When is last frost in Southern Ontario? (Toronto)

FYI: Farmers Almanac is an extremely reliable resource. It tells you the hours of light per day you get what the weather is going to be like, and trends for the year like really wet or very dry. give you moon cycles to plant by. Its a cheap yet valuable little booklet that will give advice...

When is last frost in Southern Ontario? (Toronto)

im at 45 degrees lat, and which is very similar to southern Ontario, I never bother putting my plants outside before June 1st, I find that before this the weather is too cold and the elements to harsh to make it worthwhile transplanting. I start them under a 400watt MH so they have a climate on...

    Whats a good manure?

Earthworms are always good for soil. Make sure there is something organic in the soil for them to eat otherwise they'll pack up and leave! Which they will probably do anyway. If your growing in a 55 gallon drum make sure there is really good drainage. Also majke sure is is camouflaged well, a...

    starting outdoor grow

Those will be fine so long as they are in fact getting abundant light. A cheap and easy light is a 65 watt Flourex Flood Light available at most hardware stores. Or, it looks like a 3 foot dual-tube florescent shop light would work, get the bulbs that say they are good for aquariums or plants...

"We wouldn't be here if it weren't for psychedelic drugs. In terms of the role of psilocybin in human evolution on the grasslands of Africa, people not on drugs were behind the curve. The fact is that, in terms of human evolution, people not on psychedelics are not fully human. They've fallen to...

    Whats a good manure?

Bat guano, all poultry manures, have so much ammonium nitrate in them that they will burn your plants to death. Best to use these sparingly. Cow, horse, sheep goat, and pig manure are milder in Nitrogen and can be used in excess of 1:1 parts per sand/ peat/ soilless mix etc. Its a good idea to...

    inside, outside

it good to give your plants a slow transition when moving them outdoors, if possible put them inside for the night. If they are already planted in the ground you can use large glass jars (so long as their small) or you can make mini A-frame green houses out of plastic to shelter them from the...

PART 2 (continued) Soil permeability and soil drainage: Most people when they think of a Cannabis plant they think on stinky, sticky succulent colas (a long bud flowering bud). Most do not consider what goes on under the soil beyond providing the plant water and fertilizers. There is howver...

I know how you feel. When anything is stolen from your person or property you feel violated and you become suspicious of the people around you. I had some pecker nuts swipe 7 clones one year out of my field. #1 lesson learned DO NOT LEAVE TRAILS TO YOUR PLANTS!! BE LIKE NINJA!!

Need help fast!!! What's attacking my plants?

Diotamatious Earth is your best bet, aside from crunching them with your green thumb. You could try putting some sticky tape around the edge of the pot or the base of the stem. Fly tape works pretty good and is fairly water resistant.

    Super-Cropping 09 - You Can Too!

That is a superb technique. Sounds like Screen of Green only outdoors. i wonder how long it grew outdoors, and what month it was transplanted? :blsmoke: I just may try using this method, though it will prove difficult to camouflage such a plant..
