I am just stating worse case scenarios. But a cake smell sounds weird to me. Once you take it off and isolate the smell from the box or the scrubber you can diagnose it from there.

You kind of affirmed my worry. You say you plan to exhaust it into a crawl space that smell like mildew .... which means that you already have mold in your house which means that your house is probably very humid which promotes the growth of mold. My worry is that you have a type of mold growing...

mmmmmm cake ...... The sweet smell would worry me. Have you tried taking the carbon filter off and smelling it by it self in another room to isolate the smell to either the air being pulled through or the filter itself?

Looks like a fan on them might help and keep the temps down. Looks like you are stuffing that space.

If I understand you right you are going to take a clone from a female plant grown in soil and that clone is going to be grown in hydro. If that is your question then yes.

Well based on what I read I would guess that 12 23watt cfls in a 3x31/2'x4'box would get hot in there and the plant would stretch BAD unless temps were controlled. Second guess is that with a low watt and low lumen light bulb the plants are growing wanting that light so move the light higher or...

How many weeks on 12-12 has it been? Cause if you are 8 weeks of 12-12 ( like it sounds in your post ) then you are about to harvest and shouldn't have a problem.
