Nope, this peat did not have perlite in it. Its def Canadian Sphagnum peat moss, and bought from a place that is catering to the Coots mix. I never did test the soil ph. I have switched back to RO water I was using before.

Going back to my Coots mix... Hey @ShLUbY I just realized this. I don't think I hydrated my peat moss. I did not come in a brick, I was thinking of coco I used in my previous soil grow. My peat moss came in a bale like promix does.

I may add some perlite or pumice to the soil I have on hand. But I don't think aeration is the current source of my problems. More likely the PH issue that you've already mentioned.

The mix is supposed to be alive but I have my doubts, I maybe didn't add enough water when inoculating. I don't compost, I do have composted products in my soil mix though, ie cow manure, leaf mold, and ewc. I'm not yet worm farming, though I do have an Urban Worm Bag which I haven't gotten...

I water about every 3rd or 4th day. It's been suggested to me in the past to try and water more often using less water. As for aeration, I have the standard 1/3 aeration of rice hulls.

I have a pretty "hot" store bought soil, I may transplant these into a 3 gallons pot of that hot soil, actually 2 gallons of hot soil and the 1 gallon of CC mix they're currently in.

I don't think I want to dedicate that much space and soil to a runt, if it doesnt grow out of it I don't plan on transplanting to 65 gals.
