you can use anything for the grow stage, it's a weed, it'll grow fine in a window, the ground etc. Once you move to the flowering stage (they will start to show their sex when the days get shorter) I'd definatly recommend the box with some CFLs. It will be too big to flower on the window...

Don't do this, power supplys are designed for a mobo to regulate them, eventually it will burnt out and I've heard horror stories of fires from power supplys. Use a 12V adapter, if you can't find one around the house, buy one at radio shack

Ya I just don't like the idea of smoking chemicals is all. I try to keep it as pure and heathly as possible. Basically, chemicals scare me and that's why I'm going as organic as posible.
