Major growth will happen whether you top or not its all a matter of opinion cause some say 1 big cola is better and others will say that 2 or 4 colas is better! I just love seeing more shoots and bud sites thats why i top them

I topped mine at 6 inches with about 6 nodes on it then i topped just above the second node ("uncle ben's topping tech") and they recovered fast and grew three inches in four days!!! Now i have four main cola shoots and the plant is growing huge!!! You can top pretty much whenever it all depends...

BTW The 6500k's are great for veg growth!!!!

The CFL's will def help!! Get the 2700k's for flowering try to get 26w or higher but lower watt bulbs will work too. As for ferts i'd get fox farm big bloom and tiger bloom and your plants will love you forever!!!!

I def. agree that you can grow badass weed with MG it just isn't as forgiving if ya over do it but i guess you can say that about other nutes also... Just always start light and move up!!

Def. 2700k for flower and 6500k for veg. and get a couple fans if ya can cause air flow is critical with our favorite plant especially during flowering cause the buds stay wet and can mold without air movement.:hump:
