It's spider mites....pretty serious problem if not taken care of. Take two damp spounges and rub down the leaves(be cautious) They make an organic pesticide that works pretty well (not sure of the name) mist the leaves after rubbing the leaves with the spounges. Spider mites like dry places...

Mg soil is low in ph....Not good. Nitrogen is a nutrient and would make sense because is promotes vegetative growth, just as P (phosphorous) promotes flowering. I use blood meal!

hmmm I think that would cause stress. If I understand you right I believe that's how they make feminized seeds. Causing stress by messing up light cycles makes the plant thinks it's going to die....then produces seeds. Correct if wrong*

Well the only ringing I know about is people being addicted to pain killers for a certain amount of time. That will cause ringing of the ears. May not be what it is, and for what it's worth I am sorry you guys have that horrible problem to deal with from day to day. It kinda makes me think...

Only way they can tell is if the plants are outside....and if your electric bill fluctuates a lot at certain periods of the day or if it's just plain outrageous.
