I sure hope they don't scream. I wouldn't do it if they did. I've read it's best to top right above the second node when the plants are at five to six nodes. So far I've had great luck with it. :)

Please know I took no offense at all. People just comment on it. It shook me a bit at first but seeing the way the plants react to it is very reassuring. :)
