that sucks about all those male plants. I lucked out and got 2 male and 2 female. thanks for the tip on giving the clones some rest, I had been using 24/0 on them with my veg. plants. how long did it take to get roots from your clones to break through the side of your cubes?

thanks guys, I just used bag seed, so i'm not sure what strain it is, and again, i wont be really concerned if i screw it up, as i'm just trying to learn so when i get back i can start some good seeds that I got from a friend.

Rockwool has a high pH so you'll need to soak them with water with a pH of 4.5-5 because optimally it should grow best with pH of 5.8. Also you should have hem in a humidity dome with a heating matt under, this should help improve germination rates, I had the same problem and the humidity dome...

Probably just from the hydroton, and it shouldn't be an issue, I have the same thing in my setup. If you're refreshing your reservoir weekly it shouldn't be an issue

room temp is consistently around 69-72 and the humidity is between 50-60. using distilled water in the res. mixed with the nutes.

looking pretty good! I made the mistake of using nutes at 2 weeks. even at a 1/2 strength solution, I burned them all and killed them. I took someone's advice and waited till week 4 and started with a 1/4 strength mix, and then bumped it up to 3/4 by week 5. I will go full strength next week...
